課程簡介

本課程主要區分為「消化內科學」與「消化外科學」兩個主軸，學習內容探究腸胃道相關臨床疾病臨床診斷與治療、併發症處理、消化道之生理學變化…等。分述如下：
在「消化內科學」方面，依照不同器官介紹各種常見之疾病，病患之主訴、身體檢查、血液檢查、影像學檢查以及相對之內科治療等。
在「消化外科學」方面，以承接內科學疾病之診斷，提出相關外科治療之適應症、手術之風險、好處以及預後，以增進學生連貫式的學習，增進疾病之理解及了解臨床治療可能遇到之風險。
在問題導向式課程中，本區段使用全人醫療的觀念，討論肝炎病患從得知患病、規律追蹤治療、突發性急性肝衰竭、肝臟移植等議題提供學生全方位的學習，更能夠在肝臟移植方面討論醫療倫理道德議題，以提升思考的全面性和以人為本的醫療精神。

與核心能力之關聯性

本課程內容著重提升學生的對於消化學疾病的認知，並藉由論壇式教學(分組合作)、問題導向式教學的小組討論與分享，可教授學生不同肝癌之治療方式的有缺點，藉此了解不同病患之間有不一樣的思考觀念，以同理心的方式去了解不同選擇之間的差別。以上課程可學習「修己」、「利群」、「科學」、「倫理」等四部分的核心能力。
