課程簡介

本課程將教導學生進入臨床領域所需具備的知識及診察技巧，將以課堂授課之方式教導耳鼻喉頭頸部的基本解剖生理與常見疾患，有關診察頭頸部耳鼻喉科之一般醫療工作的實證醫學知識；培養學生獲得基本頭頸部區域診察技巧，包括醫療面談、身體檢查、檢驗室檢查，並有綜合判讀各項檢查結果及書寫病歷之能力，作為其他系統整合課程之基礎，以提供高水準的醫療服務。本課程係以1學分18節課的時間做規劃，教學內容與方法包括：互動式大堂授課18小時，考試一次(期末考)共2小時。

【就授課部分】，本課程內容著重提升學生的對於癌症與耳鼻喉科學及口腔醫學疾病的認知，提供不只是耳鼻喉科領域之全方位服務，注重病人安全(疾病治療、病房安全、病歷安全、病人隱私保護、感染管制)提升醫療品質，加強醫病間的溝通。並藉以反思檢視自身的生活經驗，教授學生如何表達同理心、告知壞消息、癌症復發的病家心路歷程、並學習安寧照護的觀念。培養「視病猶親、修己善群、終身學習、人際溝通技巧、敬業精神與倫理素養」等核心能力。
【就評量部分】，本課程評量涵蓋以下部分，
1. 期末考：可評量學生對於「醫學科學知識」的瞭解程度。
