Laboratory Descriptions
It is often seen in clinical practice that various problems of wound healing need to be resolved, including wound infection, bleeding after debridement, wound healing difficulties, and scar hyperplasia after healing. Our laboratory is interested in the related issues. The current research focus in our laboratory includes: 1. The effects of regulating the TGF-β signaling pathway of epidermal cells, vascular endothelial cells or fibroblasts on wound healing, angiogenesis and scar hyperplasia; 2. Natural polymer such as silk fibroin Protein (silk fibroin), collagen fibers (gelatin), and chitosan (chitosan), using 3D printing, lyophilization or wet spinning technology to make wound dressings or tissue-engineered skin to the purpose of wound protection, bleeding control, infection prevention and wound healing promotion. Cell experiments and animal experiments are used to explore the treatment effect and the related mechanism. We hoped that these efforts can improve the clinical wound healing related problems.
