On December 1, 2025, the National Defense Medical University (NDMU) signed an Academic Exchange Agreement with the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) of both College of Medicine. The agreement was signed by President Chih-Yuan Lin on behalf of NDMU and by Prof. Chang Ki Min, Vice President for health sciences, representing CUK.

Last agreement was signed in 2023, with active engagement in various academic and medical exchange activities. Renewing the agreement in 2025 carries special significance as it coincides with NDMU’s transition from the former “National Defense Medical Center” to “National Defense Medical University.”

Through this renewed agreement, both institutions will continue to collaborate in medical education, clinical training, faculty exchange, and student mobility programs. Looking ahead, NDMU and CUK also hope to extend cooperation to other colleges within both universities, further strengthening the breadth and depth of their international partnership.

NDMU looks forward to working closely with The Catholic University of Korea to promote long-term development in global medical education and research, and to jointly cultivate future healthcare professionals with an international outlook.
