[President Meets with Representatives of Taiwan Overseas Volunteer Teams]
This July and August, the seven overseas volunteer teams from the National Defense Medical University—Meng-Ai Meng-Ya (Mongolia), Zhu-Meng (India), Xiang-Ni (Nepal), Yue-Guang (Vietnam), N'sia (Malaysia), Rumaku (Indonesia), and Jian-Ai (Cambodia)—are ready to set sail!
We are embarking on these missions with professional medical expertise and a spirit of humanitarian care, heading deep into remote areas to provide health education and free clinics. As President Lai has noted, the youth are Taiwan’s "most gentle yet powerful representatives" on the global stage. We serve others with our hands and connect different cultures with our hearts. Through these challenges, we uncover our potential and, while witnessing the world’s needs, we allow our sense of duty as medical students to flourish in practice.
Join us as we step out of our comfort zones and use our actions to bring warmth to those who need it most!
