News from the Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA)
The Association is holding applications for its 2026 Member Scholarship (application period: Sept 1–30).
To support outstanding members studying in Taiwan and abroad, the Association is offering the 2026 Member Scholarship. Members are warmly encouraged to apply. Details are as follows:
(1) Overseas scholarship: 1 award for a doctoral degree at an overseas nursing graduate school, US$8,000 each.
(2) Domestic scholarships: 65 awards, as follows:
1. Doctoral: nursing graduate schools, 10 awards, NT$15,000 each.
2. Master's: nursing-related graduate schools, 40 awards, NT$10,000 each.
3. Undergraduate: nursing departments, 15 awards, NT$8,000 each.
(3) Priority-development fields: master's/doctoral degrees in the six fields of medical informatics, political science, law, economics, healthcare management, and long-term care — 3 awards total, NT$10,000 each. How to apply:
(1) Applications are submitted online.
(2) Application period: from Sept 1, 2026 to midnight (12:00 a.m.) on Sept 30, 2026. The system will close automatically at the deadline.
(3) Documents to upload for domestic scholarships (all required):
1. Proof of enrollment for the first semester of the 2026 academic year, OR the 2025-academic-year graduation certificate. (Those on leave of absence in the 2026 academic year are not eligible.)
2. Transcripts for both the first and second semesters of the 2025 academic year. (Missing either semester's grades results in ineligibility.)
(4) Per Article 5 of the Association's Member Scholarship Application Regulations, applicants must apply within the stated period; incomplete applications will not be accepted.
