On May 12, 2026, witnessed by President Chih-Yuan Lin, the National Defense Medical University (NDMU) College of Pharmacy officially signed an Agreement of Academic Collaboration (AAC) with the University of Florida (UF) College of Pharmacy. Going beyond a conventional Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), this AAC signifies a closer, deeper, and more substantial bilateral partnership for the future.

✨ The Key Promoter
The successful blossoming of this trans-Pacific academic connection is largely attributed to our Honorary Professor Oliver Yoa-Pu Hu. As the first NDMU Pharmacy alumnus to return and serve in Taiwan after graduating from UF, Prof. Hu leveraged his pivotal influence to bridge a profound academic connection between his two alma maters, culminating in today's substantial collaboration.
